The Nigerian music video director who has been working vividly at the industry has been awarded with many awards for his great job welldone.....

Biography

Olanrewaju Ayinla Zikirulla  popularly known as Director cikay was born on November 15 in Lagos (Nigerian)where he completed his basic at Lagos and currently I am a final year student of public administration in the university of Ilorin I've always been a Public School Student from beginning and it has a great impact in my hustle while i work as a music video director..

Though have been planning be an Actor at first, I just love it anytime I see a film whether Nigerian or foreign to sit back and read the names of people involved in the production, both casts and crews. So by doing that, I get to know who wrote the story, who produced and who directed.

Because being an Actor became something I always talk about, dream of and like my second nature......

Speaking about my love for directing On several occasions, I'd Organize a stage play even if I didn't know how to do it professionally and I'd direct my colleagues back then on how to act and so on because I so much believe in my talent and most significantly the popularity I will gain through this directing will be  a far reaching to the top sky....

Meanwhile after joining a Film academy in Lagos, I discovered my love for Cinematography and directing and that  was the Genesis of my passion and love for the work 

Due to this

I discover my love for Cinematography and editing, the flair for acting started dying drastically and I have nothing to do than to accept faith

Though have worked at Future Concept Film Academy which was owned by Dele Ogundipe, our chairman then was the popular Nollywood Yoruba veteran Actor Yinka Quadri and i really like seeing him when acting back then

So have been looking up to being as best as of the most top directors

From then till now, and for music videos directing it is still Clarence Peters and for movie, it is Seun Olaiya.

So right from the academy back then

Cikay was coined from my Muslim and native name. The first "CIK" is from Zikirullah written as "Cikirullah " and the last "AY" is from the latter Ayinla

And bless up to God Almighty

Have work  alot in Abuja, Lagos and in Ilorin and will still keep working extremely all over the world non stop

But I think the artiste's which gave me a ground was the Bodmon Song video which I shot for Zaddy

And after that shot I keep shooting everywhere in Nigeria and even beyond. I am not limited to any state or region 

Though i will love to work with Adunni Ade, DJ Cuppy and Kiki Omeili in which i will first like to work with 

DJ Cuppy cause I think I have crush on her

My signature style and swagger has made me to love making or having a presentation like presenting a program on the the radio or TV stations I have been opportune to shoot couple of weddings video shows  because I am into wedding videography too

And while working on that have been able to meet some of top Nigerian artist like  Yemi Alade, Oladips, Morell and so on
